What we do

  • Engine upgrades and bolt-on performance parts

  • Transmission and drivetrain upgrades
  • Steering and suspension upgrades, including coilovers
  • Installation of parts you've bought yourself
  • Before-and-after measurement on our all-wheel-drive dyno

Signs you're ready for a performance upgrade

Some people want a faster car. Others want one that handles better or just feels less tired. Common reasons to start:

  • The car feels slow or flat. It works fine, but acceleration doesn't match what you want.
  • You want sharper handling. Stock suspension is usually tuned for comfort, not cornering.
  • Parts are waiting to go on. You've bought upgrades and need someone to install them right.
  • The stock exhaust or intake feels restrictive. These are common starting points for a build.
  • You want proof. You'd like numbers, not just a feeling, to show a part did something.
  • Power seems down. Before adding parts, it's worth checking the car is healthy. Sometimes lost power is a repair, not an upgrade.

Upgrades that work together

The best results come from a plan. An exhaust, an intake and a tune often work better together than one at a time. A more powerful car may need better brakes, suspension or cooling to match. Before we start, we'll talk about what you want the car to do and how the parts fit together.

Checking the car's health first matters too. Upgrading an engine with a misfire or a leak just makes the problem bigger. If something needs fixing first, we'll tell you.

What to expect

Call or text us with your car, your goals and any parts you already have. You'll get an estimate within 48 hours.

Custom cars are billed at $150 per hour for inspection and repair, and general vehicles at $120 per hour. Most work is finished within a week, and bigger builds take longer. If you want dyno numbers, book early. Dyno time is usually scheduled about one week out.

We welcome customer-supplied parts. Our warranty covers new parts for 60 days or 3,000 miles, and labor for 60 days or 3,000 miles.

Questions drivers ask us

Which upgrade should I do first?

It depends on what you want the car to do. More power, better handling and a better sound all lead to different parts. Tell us your goals and budget, and we'll help you plan the order.

Can upgrades affect reliability?

They can. More power puts more stress on the engine, transmission and other parts. We'll talk through the tradeoffs before installing anything, so you can decide with the full picture.

How do I know an upgrade was worth it?

Measure it. A baseline pull on our all-wheel-drive dyno before the work, and another after, shows exactly what changed. Dyno time is usually booked about one week out.

What does performance work cost?
